The Waterfront Suites - Heritage Collection Paihia, Paihia

The hotel is in a prime waterfront location, close to the wharf and other facilities. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and let in ample natural light. The service was exceptional, especially with accommodating and discreet staff. However, some noise from the pool area could be bothersome, affecting the overall ambiance. Dining options are conveniently located across the road, offering picturesque sea views.

The hotel was incredibly welcoming and had everything I needed, but the back-facing rooms were noisy in the mornings due to nearby restaurant activity. The service was personal and accommodating, with direct access to the waterfront area, although paid shuttle services were available. The location was perfect, close to all necessary places and offering beautiful views, but some paint issues were noted in parts. Dining options were available nearby with lovely sea views. The facilities were convenient and well-maintained.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were all clean and comfortable and very well equipped to self-cater if needed, making for a perfect stay. However, the badly stained carpets were a downside. The service was top-notch, with super friendly and welcoming staff. The location was excellent, right across the road from the waterfront, offering a fabulous view of the Bay of Islands. The dining options, like the Moby Deck restaurant, were also fantastic.
